“Called 6 Times, No Reply”: OPS Slams TN BJP Chief Over PM Meeting Snub

Yet another political pot is boiling in Tamil Nadu — this time between two leaders supposedly on the same side.
Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam (OPS) has gone public with a rather personal complaint: despite calling BJP state president K. Annamalai six times, texting him, and even sending an official letter — he still received no response about arranging a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

And now, the silence is being interpreted as something more than just missed calls.

Ignored calls, unanswered texts, and a letter no one read?

According to OPS, he first tried to reach out to Annamalai by phone — six times. When that didn’t work, he sent a text message. Still nothing. Then, on July 24th, he sent an official letter requesting a meeting with the PM — again, no response.

Feeling snubbed, OPS released the letter to the media, essentially saying: “Look, I tried. He ignored me.”

“I’ve done everything formally and respectfully. If this isn’t being seen as important, what message is that sending?” OPS hinted, raising eyebrows about Annamalai’s intentions.

Behind-the-scenes tensions spilling into the open?

This latest episode isn’t just about missed communication — it reflects the growing cold vibes between BJP and OPS in Tamil Nadu’s shifting political ground. Once seen as a potential ally, OPS seems to be getting the cold shoulder from the BJP camp, especially under Annamalai’s leadership.

Political observers are wondering: is the BJP now distancing itself from OPS ahead of the next big elections? Or is this a personal power play between two men with very different visions?

Morning walk or political walkabout?

To add more masala to the mix, OPS was spotted meeting DMK’s MK Stalin earlier today — yes, the same Chief Minister he once opposed. The meeting was reportedly a “chance encounter” during a morning walk, but let’s be real — political coincidences are rarely just coincidences.

Was it a casual greeting or a subtle message to BJP?

What’s really going on in Tamil Nadu?

This mini-drama may seem small, but it hints at larger shifts in opposition strategy, BJP’s internal alliances, and the uncertainty hanging over OPS’s next move.

Ignored calls, leaked letters, surprise meetings — Tamil Nadu politics never disappoints.

What’s your take? Is OPS trying to stay relevant, or is BJP shutting the door on old allies? Should Annamalai have at least replied? Let us know what you think.
