It began on Monday night when Ditipriya posted a subtle yet sharp accusation on social media — no names mentioned, but enough hints for the “telipara” gossip mill to point towards Jitu Kamal.
Her claim? The actor had sent her several objectionable messages over time.

Ex-Wife Speaks Up
In an interview with Aajkal.in, Navnita Das, who divorced Jitu in 2023, made it clear that she has no doubts about his moral character.
“I have always known him as a good human being. During our relationship, there was never a single incident that could question his character,” she said.
Navnita, also a co-star in the past, described Jitu as reserved, someone who doesn’t speak much on set but has a subtle sense of humour that comes out in unexpected ways.
The Pregnancy Comment Row
One of Ditipriya’s biggest grievances was that Jitu once asked her if she was pregnant after hearing she was visiting a doctor — a remark she considered highly inappropriate.
Navnita’s take was balanced:
“Ditipriya is quite young, so she may have felt hurt. What’s a joke to one person can feel uncomfortable to another. Everyone’s tolerance level is different.”
Jitu’s Defence
Jitu insists he has all the proof and will respond fully when the time is right. In his Facebook post, he referred to Ditipriya as a “young girl” and suggested that someone may be influencing her against him.
“The victim card is not new in our society… but she’s a good, educated girl. Let her work in peace.”
Interestingly, he never mentioned her name directly, sticking to indirect references throughout.
